Terra Agric Farm Future Nigeria Limited (TAFF) is a Nigerian Group Holding Company incorporated in 2019 by Terra Agric Investment BV, Netherlands (TAI). TAFF Nigeria commenced operations in 2019. TAI is the investment vehicle through which Terra Agric International BV, Netherlands (Terra Agric) invests in emerging agricultural countries.

In its 2-year operational existence, TAFF Nigeria boasts of technical, managerial and alliance-based expertise across the entire agriculture value chain spanning:

  • Farmland management (currently managing ~50,000 hectares of land across Nigeria);
  • Inputs provisioning including fertilizers, chemicals, mechanization and value chain mechanical services;
  • Contract farming collaborations via strong farmer cooperative development (about 57,600 smallholder farmers cultivating variety of crops across Nigeria).

From Seed to Plate

As a social impact company, Terra Agric wants to achieve good farming enterprise conditions in emerging countries and provide various “local high end” consumers, through Farm Future certified practices, safe and reliable food consumables, that complies with international export standards.

Our mission is to facilitate the development of agricultural emerging markets for sustainable agriculture production by transforming the capabilities and capacities of existing smallholder farmers and new entrant educated youth in these markets into viable family-oriented, successful multi-generational agribusinesses.

Rene Haveman

Chairman, TAFF Nigeria Limited


Rene Haveman is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Terra Agric International BV Netherlands. Rene is a Dutch farmer, an entrepreneur and a grower with a world view of Agricultural opportunities. He is passionate about growing crops and rearing animals and this has given him strength to endure disappointments and learn from mistakes in order to develop good farming practices that are successful and replicable for other farmers. As a farmer in the Netherlands, Rene’s focus was on the right balance between optimum margin and cost leadership. In Africa and in Asia, he is still focused on cost leadership of the farmer’s production as well the farmer’s profitability. With over 40 years’ hands-on experience in Agriculture, he has demonstrated with proven successes, horizontal and vertical integration within diverse commodity value chains, delivering gains in margins and in the reduction of cost per unit produced, sustainably. Rene possesses strong farm, economics and leadership capabilities that make all those who work with him highly motivated and productive for themselves and for the group.

Anuoluwapo Ajayi

Managing Director, TAFF Nigeria Limited


Anuoluwapo Ajayi is the Managing Director of Terra Agric Farm Future Nigeria Limited. He brings to the leadership of the group over 15 years of experience in the Agricultural finance and investment sectors. Over the years, he had been instrumental in the development of value chain financing product development and delivery across multiple segments of the Agric industry. He is also a Director at Terra Agric International BV as well as Director at Terra Agric Investments BV. Prior to his current roles, he had stints at AFEX as a Senior Manager in charge of Key Accounts in South West Nigeria and Structured Trade across Nigeria. He was also with UBA PLC, Sterling Bank PLC and Union Bank respectively, where he left as Assistant Manager in charge of Agric Business and Credit Analysis (UBA) and as Agric Officer at the Agric desks (Sterling and Union). He is a graduate of University of Ilorin with B.Sc. of Agric.

Moses Saromi

Independent Director


Moses Saromi serves on the board of TAFF Nigeria as an independent director. He brings to the TAFF board strong multi sectoral experiences including strategic and transactional level oversight of Agricultural value chain M&As, Oil and Gas M&As, Financial Institutions M&As, amongst others. He possesses immense experience working in Europe and Africa and he is an accomplished entrepreneur having founded many successful enterprises including First Mutual Microfinance Bank Limited and also serves on the boards of many other institutions. His wealth of experience and entrepreneurial savviness will support TAFF in the realization of its strategic objectives.

Aliyu Maccido

Independent Director


Aliyu Maccido serves on the board of TAFF as an independent director. He is an astute professional with muli-sectoral spanning upstream and midstream Oil and Gas market, Agriculture and Financial Services. He serves on the boards of many successful companies and his wealth of experience will avail TAFF strong governance and opportunity alignment. He is a member of the Energy Institute in the United Kingdom, Society of Petroleum Engineers in the United States as well as British Project Professional Society and a fellow of Institute of Petroleum Management of West Africa.

Anuoluwapo Ajayi

Onome Ekama

Group Finance Manager


Onome Ekama is a chartered accountant with work experience of over 8 years spanning several industries. Her expertise encompass Risk and Compliance, Audit, Tax, International Trade and Financial Reporting. Onome has assisted individuals, as well as small and large businesses with tax and accounting related matters. Prior to her current role, Onome worked as a Group Accountant in the retail sector. She holds a Bsc. in Banking and Finance from the University of Benin, Nigeria and is a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK, and Chartered Professional Accountant of British Columbia, Canada.

Blessing Olalere

Group Human Resource Manager


Blessing Olalere is an HR professional with a wealth of multi-sector experience. She demonstrates her natural abilities in addition to her functional expertise through constant interface with management, hiring managers and employees on all issues as it concerns the HR function. She is very keen about talent management - finding them on-spec, using them effectively and keeping them longer within the organization. She is a people person who is also passionate about the ways continuous improvement can be made to boost productivity. Blessing has a special aptitude for navigating uncharted waters. Blessing graduated with Honours in Sociology and Anthropology from University of Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State, Nigeria. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Industrial and Labour relations at University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos, Nigeria.

Temiloluwa Adegbite

Group Legal and Compliance Manager


Temiloluwa Adegbite is the Group Legal & Compliance Manager at Terra Agric Farm Future Limited, where she engages her strong investigative skills and work ethics in the management of the company's control systems to prevent suspicious activities and deficiency, or deal with intrusion of legal guidelines and internal policies. Temiloluwa is a lawyer with 10 years’ worth of experience, with which she has served on many boards prior to Terra Agric Farm Future Limited. She has been instrumental in the successful commencement of numerous corporate bodies. She received her LL.B Honours from the Premiere University of Ibadan and her BL from the Nigerian Law School, Kano Campus, Baguada. Outside of work, Temiloluwa loves to travel.
